Email, but without the bullshit.

Echelon — Inbox
The Echelon desktop app

The desktop app · three panes, one accent

Echelon is a calm, quiet email app. No ads, no tracking, nothing to upgrade to. Just your mail, set out with the care of a good magazine.

Hierarchy by space and weight. Never by noise.

Most mail apps shout. Echelon sets your inbox the way a magazine sets a page; airy density, hairline depth, one accent.

Quiet by design

Nothing in Echelon flashes, nags, or shouts at you. A conversation opens as a clean page with room to breathe. The loudest thing on screen is the message itself.

Keeps working offline

Mail you've opened stays on your device, so it's still there on a plane or a dead-zone train. Replies written offline wait patiently and send the moment you're back. Nothing clever, just an app that doesn't fall over when the wifi does.

Search, as you type

Anything already on your device shows up instantly, while you're still typing. For older mail you've never opened, Echelon asks your provider in the background and adds what it finds.

No ads. No tracking. No catch.

Echelon is free. Not free-with-ads. Not free-until-the-good-bits-move-behind-a-subscription. There's nothing in the app that exists to make money from you.

And nothing in it reports on you. No ads, no trackers, no analytics. Your email is between you and your mail provider, and that's the whole story.
